    Hey all, new to this forum and the GS500.  Been poking around here for about a month, lot of good information here.  Picked up a new f model 4-30-08 already have 950 miles on it.  I bought it to be my comuter.  This is not my first bike and while I don't consider myself a mechanic I am handy with wrenchs.  I have already seen some mods on here that I will be trying out.  Anyway looks like a great forum and I'm sure I will have lots of questions for you guys and gals.  :thumb:
