Ok, I know that some of us only check out the General Discussion area, or O & E, or maybe even the Tard Farm if you're a true degenerate, but with only six weeks to the event, I wanted to draw attention to the Deals Gap rally coming up.  You can check out the meet & greet thread in my sig (subtle isn't it) if you want all the info. 

We are collaborating with thegsresources.com to get even more people involved.  You can see their information and / or sign up at http://northcarolina.gsrallies.com/index.php?page=signup  Currently, there are around 30 various GS riding individuals signed up, but it'd be great to see more GS500 bikes representing at the rally. 

Anyway, sorry for bringing meet and greet material into O & E, but I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of the meet, and I hope to see you there.

Four weeks to go!  I know some of you are out there reading this thread thinking, "Man, I'd like to go, but..."  Life is to short for your but!  So far there are five GSTwin folks confirmed here.  You can see who is going here.

I've read so many posts on here over the past few years that I almost feel like I know many of you, but if I were to come face to face with any of you, I would never know it.  It's time to get together and put some faces with the names, and to create some inside jokes that we can share here!

Final bump...just over a week away.  I wish we could've gotten more people involved.  It may seem insensitive of me to say, but it seems like the only time we can get a big group together any more is when someone dies.

It's true though, I was at a funeral earlier this week and all I heard was, "I haven't seen you in forever, shame it took this for us to see each other..." or some variation of that. I would love to go, but I've got finals coming up and then I'm going to Canada. Plus my bike isn't completely functioning yet.

BTW those that go, a LEO friend of mine says teh Blount Co. sherriffs dept will be running radar at teh overlook on the tn side. and teh THP will be running the route. THE BCSO usually wont ticket unless speed is excessively over the likmit. so when you coem down off teh hill to the overlook, slow it to 35 ( limit) BCSO gives warnings THP does NOT. just a friendly heads up
