Well heres my saga.. the right carb float likes to stick about every 2 months. It did it once under waranty and 4 times since. The first couple of times  the dealer just tapped  it loose. The last 2 times I took off the carbs and looked for dirt, I didnt find any crud or obvious causes. The carbs were put back on and the bike started and ran great, its been a couple of months and its happened again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ive tried higher octane, fuel injector cleaner and sea foam. the bike has about 3000 miles and is kept in the garage. Its always the right carb that has the problem. Is there anything specific I should be looking for, when Ive got the carbs apart?

If it sticking shut, soak the float needle in 2 stroke oil or clean engine oil.

I guess I shoud have said its sticking open and allowing gas to pour out the breather box. I rode it home last night about 15 miles, I had no choice. Ill be pulling the carbs today. I couldnt smell any gas in the oil but I'll change it anyway. Im gonna try switching the float needle valves from left to right and see if that helps. Is there an exploded carb view around w/part numbers?    lol -The local dealer mechanic told me it was caused by a bad plug :o. Yow no help there. but they sell a lot of spark plugs!

What is the condition of the float needle? It should have a rubber coating on the tip that can get worn down or chewed up, etc.

Maybe you can post some pictures when you take the carbs apart?

I think if this problem has happened on several occasions there must be something broken; it doesn't sound like a regular sticking float.

Or, there might be a burr on the float needle body, or the float pivot shaft.  What's causing it to stick open?  When you open them, before you remove the float assembly, turn the carbs sideways so that the float shaft is verticle.  Hold the carbs, with the tops against your chest, so you can look down on the shaft, then lean the carbs away from you and towards you (actually you lean your whole upper body) and observe how the float moves.  What appears to be the hang up?  You may have to finger the float needle to figure out if it's 'hanging' in the float seat.

Another thing may be the float is too tight on the shaft.  Take the float and shaft out and then see if the shaft will slide and spin easily back in the float.

Or, is the float hanging up on the shaft towers?

Is there excess plastic on the float from the mold seams?

Thanks for the suggestions, I probably wont get the carbs off till saturday. I just priced the float and needle assy from suzuki $119.00. Ouch
I am also replacing the gas lines from the tank to the petcock as they have developed pinholes from being removed so much. probably a good time to install an inline filter as well. Thanks Ill post my inspection results.
