I almost said Ducati 848, but my back made me say GSX650.  ;)
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

i've sat on the ninja 650, and the tiger. the tiger seemed like way too much bike, way too high.

the 650 may end up being too upright a position, but i dunno, haven't ridden either of them.

out at the hess station way north of tampa there is everything from vintage HD's to R1's to indians, gs's, bmw's, kz900's, cb750's, scooters, goldwings, and occasionally, a buddy with a rgv 250.

most of the folks don't mind you sitting on their ride and taking some pictures. :)

D16RR :icon_rolleyes:  not that I'd ride it much, it would mostly just look pretty.  However, when I did ride it, I would need a rearview camera to capture the look on Enzo drivers faces as I screamed past their 1+mil car.

Not on your list, but I'd love to have a Triumph Speed Triple.  Actually, I'd love to have the Street Triple, but if it's free...  I've heard there's no REplacement for DISplacement.  Though at this point 487cc's is more than enough! :icon_mrgreen:

I'm totally not trying to be rude, but whats the point of the thread??  Is it something that will feesably happen to you or are you just shooting out a dream to see what people are into.  If its your list to pick from, I'd go 848 in a heartbeat just because of the following it has and its an amazing bike all around.  Sweet bike with not too much power.
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

Street triple through and through. I love the puke green color, such a hot bike.

Ya know, it's kinda weird.  While the 848 has taken the world by storm and tons of Jap bike riders have traded to one and couldn't be happier, the Ducatisti that have been riding Duc's for a while tend to end up rather dissappointed with the 848.  I'm told it feels to stiff and just not-quite Italian coupled with a lackluster downsizing of an otherwise very capable engine and the removal of a key point of character on Ducati SBK's. (dry clutch,  the 848 features the same wet-plate,Adler slipper clutch used in the M695)

Dude, a Paso restored to showroom quality is much like an old 308 Dino, absolute classic Italian sex appeal on wheels.

i had one briefly in phoenix. teh desmo on that bike was noisy. first time i heard it after class, was at MMI in phoenix ( where i get/got my warranty certifications fom ) i was ready to pull it into the shop and check the valves. up to that point, ive never heard  a desmo engine running. but the thought of essentially no redline is kinda exciting

Make the Dino a 246 GT and then you're talking. Had one in the family. Black, sleek, lovely.   8)  Also had the Bertone body Fiat X1/9. Too wedgy looking for my taste but fun to drive, and also black with the removable roof. Which often leaked.   ;)

I'm sorry, but mine's not on the list too. A couple of years ago i owned a Honda VTR SP-1. 1000 cc v-twin. Much like a Duc only a little heavier. Waaay to much torque and handles really well.

I can't help it. I'm lazy by nature..

Man, I haven't seen one of these actually on the road. OK,  I saw a few being test ridden from that beautiful , magical, fantasticly RED Ducati trailer while it was here. Other than that test ride, I haven't seen one on the road, nor have I I witnessed a storm of 'jap bike riders trading to one'.

Was there a review somewhere I missed, or an article where parts availability was suddenly not an issue, and a huge initial investment price drop for those bikes ?

I'm not bashing -you- man, but just wondering which part of the country has gone goo goo over these bikes, AND actually BOUGHT them.

:)

I voted 848, cause if it's free, why not?

Choice of any bike?  I'd probably go with the new Buell XB12XT

The Street Trip and XB9SX would be good too
