Upgrading to K&N Lunchbox. Bought new filter for it about a month ago, but bike stopped running. If anybody is interested i was thinking $20 shipped. 

what year is the airbox off of? I was under the impression they changed at some point, but I could be wrong.

The airbox is from a 1996. I would think it would fit any pre-01 because they have the same carbs, other than that maybe someone else could chime in.
