Tang, it looks like you may have both kits in the next day or so.  Both gmark and 510 have posted that they shipped the kits they had to you.  I guess when you receive the West coast kit, just send it out to whomever is next in the que over there.  I dunno.  I figured this was gonna happen.  I guess I need to run to the dealer and get my valve cover gasket in preperation for the kit.

The valve cover gasket is expensive, and in most cases it can be reused. I would suggest looking at the condition of your current gasket before dishing out for a new one.

510's one is in que still waiting for that one

i haven't had much time to work on the valves

I figure I've put this off long enough, I'd like to get on the list. I won't be able to check my valves until the week of June 23rd. So whoever that falls after I would love to get it.

Works for me. Is there anything I have to buy before the kit arrives, like shims?

I'd like to borrow the valve adjusting kit at some point as well - who am I in line behind?

lewismug

Bucks, there should be shims in the kit already.  Whether or not there are the sizes you need in the kit is a good question.

Right now the list is:

me
Bucks
asobi

I guess that's right.  If I left anyone out, lemme know.  Bucks, go ahead and shoot me a pm with your mailing address.  Tang, sending you a pm right now with my info, although, I think you may already have it.  message me a day or so in advance of you sending the kit to me so I can be sure to have enough time to get the kit back out quickly.

Sending you a pm now. If you are done with the kit soon you could send it to asobi before me, the soonest I can check my valves is the week of the 23rd. I just don't want to hold the kit up.

Just sent lewismug and bucks a PM, but I'm not going to be needing the kit - I think I'll just get my shims from the shop instead if necessary.  I already bought the feeler gauges and the shim removal tool.

Got the pm, hope it all works out for you.

So when ever your finish up with the kit lewismug, you can send it my way. I think I sent you my address, let me know if you didn't get it. Take your time, no rush.

No rush, take your time. I'm going to be out of the country, so I really don't want that package sitting outside my house while I'm gone. I think I'm coming back June 21 or 22. So if you could ship it so it arrives after those dates I think it would be best. Monday June 23 at the earliest.

And if you want to throw a present in there for me I would not object.  :icon_mrgreen:

ok quick question before i ship it out i hear this popping sound at around 2000rpm when i'm just sitting at a stop light is that due to the valves and everytime it pops the rpms dip down like a 200rpms but comes back up immediately.
