but wrecking a DUC is a nono punishable by death in certain ocuntries OR in south carolina. hell i dont pull my feet up UNTIL im moving at a decent rate ( at least 2-5 mph)

Same here, when I'm at a light my feet usually don't come up to the pegs until I'm through the intersection.

The only thing I can say is that the bike will probably end up scaring the f%$k out of him one day and he'll sell it at a rather large personal loss to someone who will take care of it.

Thanks to the 1098 and 848 you can get all the 7XX's and 9XX's freaking dirt cheap, and they haven't even been wrecked.  This has also driven down the price of the monster line as no one wants to pay more for a bike with less.

This place by me always has used bikes, mostly salvage, repossessed, ect. They usually have a few Duc's in stock, I was checking out this 800 ss, recovered from a theft. Not a lot of info on it as they just got it in. $3,500 with salvage title.
