Seriously, I've seen little small harley parts advertised on cl at ridiculously high prices.

I don't see why they're so high priced, $16,000 for a used bike?? I could buy a new 1098 for that price.

It's all about taste,status,and appearence.

actually that title may be no good. harley titles the engines AND the transmission ( i see tranny but no engine) aka you change the engine, unless you get teh original vin stamped on the new engine ( FROM HD) it fucks the title up something like that id go around 2k or so

like all things in a free market, because they can. if demand wasn't there for $50,000 choppers, everybody and their brother wouldn't make them

they handle like shaZam!, look like shaZam!, and drive up insurance costs for everyone that actually rides. hey, that sounds like SUV's again !

i wouldnt mind that frame at all. ive got a rebuilt shovelhead engine, with some perf. mods to it. i wouldnt mind putting in there. BUT it would be titles as a " special construction" because of teh vin discrepancy. one could use the original title. HOWEVER if dot or whatever or an anal cop looks up the vins anddiscovers that teh registration is off. ohhhh boy the ticket book would come out
