What about Lucas Oil additive?

I have used it in car engines before and it seems to keep them healthy.  Is this something I should avoid?  I couldn't find and friction reducers in it.  Not familiar with what it would do to a wet clutch though...

Any opinions?

Sounds unnecessary... and given that it could affect the clutch, I wouldn't use it

GS engines run out of valve seat before they run out of cylinder wall, lubricated by Wal Mart's best.

Why bother?   

Lucas is a friction modifier,that's why it doesn't say it.

just keeping the oil changed at proper intervals and levels proper is enough. additives may do more harm than good. is there a additive certified for wet clutches ? oh I'm sure -someone- has thought of that. and it's prolly not cheap either !

Lucas crap was once and for all discredited by someone on the maxim list.
The demo at the stores are this gear 4 pack where you can spin it by hand and see it go as a nice web on to all 4 of them. However when you stop it, it has a lot of air bubbles in it. Now one of the maxim guys put some sorta mechanism in a drill and spun it to 5-6K rpm. the thing promptly turned into foam and climbed up the walls of his container. Oh yea, fat lot of good its doing sticking to the crankcase walls instead of being pumped by the oil pump. Yea the oil is there in the pan. Hopefully too much of it isn't stuck to the lucas crap and sitting on the wall.
