Alrite, last week i bought the Dynojet kit and the K&N drop in air filter for my 2006 Gs500F. So i put in the jets and air filter. Started the bike. re-adjusted the mixture screws and went for a ride. Well thats when i notice the bike runs a bit jerky under while accelerating or cruising under 5k revs.

The jet kit comes with 4 different main jets to choose from:
DJ120
DJ124
DJ128 and DJ 132

Every other part of the kit is made to replace stock components.

Now heres one part im confused about. On the dynojet instructions:

"If you are running the stock exhaust install the DJ124 main jets. If you are running an aftermarket exhaust with high flowing baffles use the DJ128 main jets.

So i was thinking since im running on an K&N air filter with a Yoshimura TRS SLIP-on; i put in the DJ128 main jets.
Could the choice of main jets be the cause of the bike running poorly? If so, should i move up to the DJ132 main jets? or lower to the DJ124 / DJ120 jets?

Could somebody help me please? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Take that Dyno junk out and throw it away. There are no one here that will recommend those. They are extremely difficult to tune correctly.Even Dyno has to use a dyno to get them correct.Hence the name Dyno. You need standard Mikuni jets pilot 20/ mid 62.5/ main 137.5.

Here's links for jets.

+1 bagillion

the needles are shaZam! too.

use stock needles (way better performance, way more forgiving) and buy your larger sized jets from whoever for $3 each, if that. dynojet is a MAJOR pita. promise.
