I accidentally dropped some battery acid on mine and totally screwed up the paint.  Does anyone have a black passenger handle for sale?  This is for a 1998 so I think that anything prior to 2004 should work.

Nope, just seems to have eaten up the paint. 

If only the paint is damaged, the easiest route would probably be to find a local shop to powdercoat it.

You can sand and polish it if you like.

FYI... the handle is the same (except for color) for all years, 89-current.

I have one in black from my 2000.  I'll sell it to you cheap.  I can send pics if you want.  I also have a luggage rack if you'd rather that.  Let me know.
