I have changed all four turnsignals on my bike and all work except the front left. It is getting no power, i tried the turn signal off a battery and it worked fine.

any help?

I would check the connection method you used first.

My simplified turn signal schematic CLICK HERE might help sort this out.

The wiring information is for stock bulbs

i am lost with that how ever stupid that might sound. I still have not gotten it to work. It is so hard for me to access the wires and see where they go. Could i have shorted out a relay or something?

natewesselink

its possable that you just shorted out a wire or you just have a bad connection somewhere between your battery and the signal.
an easy way to test this is to get one of those things with an led in them that loook likea very big needle with a wire running out of the end attached to an aligator clip(i cant remember what theyre called) find a good ground and just start testing every wire in the bulb assembly to see where the short or problem wire is.
hope i didnt confuse you too mutch

Hi there,
That tool is called an "electrical tester."
:)
Good luck, take your time and you'll track it down.

Usually it's called a "test light".

Being the front, and you saying the wores are hard to get to, you DID remove the front headlight to install/wire them right?

The connections are all behind the headlamp, and if you tug on the wires too hard from outside the headlight bucket, you can disconnect the bullet connector inside.

Good luck.
I love it when a plan comes together.
