Hey everyone,
Found this great page and have been reading and lurking for quite some time. I've got a 2006 GS500F (Black and Silver model) that's going to need some work. I was hit by a van recently. Luckily I was able to slow enough to not injure myself and only cause somewhat minor damage to the bike. The driver of the van was found to be completely at fault so their insurance will be picking up the complete tab. I've went to get one estimate so far (still waiting on it) and plan on getting at least one more. If the insurance company writes a check for damages, I may end up doing a lot of the work myself since I don't absolutely need everything that was damaged replaced.
Here's what I do need though:

Complete Front Cowling - I need both the outer part and the inner plastic that it mounts to. I'm fairly certain my bracket didn't get bent, so I should be OK there.
Handlebars - wouldn't care if they were stock or not, just as long as they aren't bent - like mine currently are
Windshield - again, if you've got a stock or non-stock windshield I'd probably be interested in either.
Cover for speedo and tach - this is the silver metal piece that covers the gauge assembly

There are a few other parts that got banged up, but I can probably live with that for now.
Let me know if you've got any of these parts that you no longer need and I'll let you know if I'd be interested. Again, I haven't heard back from the insurance company yet, the police report is still being finalized and I'm still waiting to hear back on the estimate, but I should have all this straightened around toward the end of this week.
