Roadstergal

I said goodbye to Seattle.

I got a job at a biotech in the Bay Area and moved down here.

I met a handsome man on an SV1000S.

I rode a lot of dirt.

I took Brok's supermoto school and broke my ankle during what was maybe a few too many firsts - first supermoto race, first time on slicks, first time in the dirt on slicks.

As soon as the ankle healed, I turned my dirtbike into an SM and kept racing.

I snorkled in Hawaii.

I got married to the aforementioned handsome man.

I raced bicycles.

And I got a GS500 for the track.  I think that's about it for the overview.

Roadstergal....it's great to see/hear from you again!!  Congrats on all the life changes.   :thumb:  Hope to see you around more often...some of these 'young'uns' need a few more seasoned role-models.  You've been missed!

Wow, from seattle to the ghey area, ahem, I mean bay area!  I can't stand the drive down there is the only thing.  What part do you live in?  There's a lot of land down there.  I'm about 5 hours north in eureka, so if you guys are ever up for a beatiful loop, I know a 150 mile loop thats some of the most beautiful in the hidden lost coast here.  Here's a few pics of it but there's a lot more that the cyclists don't go on.  It has the wall which is an 18* grade for what seems forever on a bike.  The switchbacks are a pain, and you'll feel it the next morning, but its awesome.  Also highway 36 which is one of the best motorcycle roads around right after the tail of the dragon.  People are missing whats to be had around here!
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

I'll handle the tumeric!

Thanks, y'all, it's nice to see you again.

Hmm, our moto travel is booked for this year, but I might take your offer next year on the route selection, bombadillo!  And ja, it's not cheap to live around here.  Truth be told, I wouldn't if it weren't for the job - I was looking for a biotech job in Seattle, but it's just hard to beat Genentech.

Now that I'm here, though, I don't know if I could live anywhere else in the U.S.  Legal lane sharing alone is going to be hard to give up!  And all of the great dirt riding 'round here...

Mandres

Congratulations RG!  Beautiful pictures there, thanks for sharing.  What is that red bike you're riding in this one?  It looks sweet!

Genentech?  Wow, sounds interesting.

I have a buddy that made a mint shorting them earlier in the year.

well not legal BUT tolerated  :thumb: ( that is if lane sharing and splitting are one and the same)

Morning ride on a thumper, hubby on a V-twin, me on an I-4 - I think I have the bases covered.  :D

Ja, that's an FZ6.  They made some improvements to it in '07, so I went with that model and I'm glad I did.  Better suspension, better brakes, better instrument cluster, better FI.  I took off the Givi cases for the wedding...

OK fine fine, ignoring the silly shiny red I-4 in the pic, this pic is absolutely the most posterworthy wedding pic ... ever.
