It looks like the PO of my bike dropped something on the Instrument Cluster of my bike.  The Speedo side of the mounting plate is a little bent, paint missing, and the trip meter reset button is nowhere to be found.  I took the gauges out to install blue LED's and noticed that htey had just covered the trip reset hole with black tape to keep water out.

I would like to find a way to fix it, but it looks a little rusted in there, and I cannot figure out how to disassemble the gauge itself to figure out how it works and fix it.

Also, my tach seems to hang at about 4-4500K while cruising, unless something jars it like quick acceleration, bump, etc...  I again would try to repair if I could figure out how to open the gauge without breaking it.

But, it you have the Tach or the Speedo, or the plate, or the whole assembly, I'd like to buy it and save the headache.

Mine is a 1990, so I have the mechanical tach.  Let me know what you have and what you want!

Thanks!
I love it when a plan comes together.
