Flea bay it - you want tygon fuel line. I got plenty at home, but you know, 10 days before I can get it to you.
But, look for tygon fuel line on fleabay. Buy in pretty colors the GS uses 1/4 inch if I recall, but measure ID and buy.
Cool.

I got clear vinyl hose from Lowes.$3.50 for 10 feet. It's in the plumbing section below the board with small 3/8 and 1/4 inch fittings on it.They were a pain to install.A hair dry helps to warm the lines so they will stretch.Once they cool down they seal great with no clamps. It's thins wall so no wrestling both lines onto the tank petcock.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Tang

ok so what sizes do i need? 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch?

1/4 Inside diameter AKA ID.Mine has 1/4 ID on the label. It is tight fit and warming with a hair dryer helps.Once they're on they're easy to remove and put back on for repair work.

Hey Ben, I know most folks recommend the Tygon because it's fuel-safe. What about this stuff you got at Lowes? Thanks!  :thumb:

So far so good.It is rated for use with chemicals.Doesn't say what chemicals. It doesn't say it on the tag,but the box says chemical resistant. The tygon to me is better but can get pricey. It has better elasticity than the tubing I am speaking of.I figure 10' is enough for 2 years probably longer. At $3.50 for 10' I'm ok with that.Tygon was $10 for 3',but I really haven't checked into since last year. Here's a pic.

As long as it's not touching the cylinders or head. There should be no problems.I have had no problems so far.

I just noticed some cracking in my fuel line right under my tank petcock, I think I'll be picking up some of this line.

The clear vinyl stuff from Home Despot or Lowe's is fine for about 9 months or so.  After that it gets hard as a rock and will vibrate itself off at connection points.  Listen to The Buddah and do what he says.  The Tygon will stay translucent and flexible whereas the clear vinyl will sometimes get cloudy.  I myself prefer to use clear fuel lines because it is useful when tuning.
