.. but i decided to dust my bike off and give it another season.  yea i know the season is half over but hey, at least i'm trying.  i need help however...

i parked the bike last summer and didnt bother winterizing it like i should have.  so the other day i drained the tank, put fresh gas in, changed the plugs and charged the battery.  well besides the battery not holding charge like it should, the bike just wont run properly.  i was able to pop start it finally but the bike will only run full choke.  when i hit it WOT the bike is slower than normal to pick up and slower than normal to return to idle when i let off.  the second i move it off full choke it dies instantly.  i did turn the idle screw a few times trying to get it right but i think there's more to it.  any ideas?

Yea WeazelNoz - I knew it, they always come back.
Pilot jet and air screw passages clogged ? My first guess.
Clean it, or ride with choke and see if it self cleans. Sorta like eating cereal in liew of brushing your teeth (not that I would ever) OK fine screw it, I have rinsed my mouth with coffee in lieu of brushing. I admit it ... happy now.

Yea I know, lame, I am now Buddha. But that was all I could think of in the 2 seconds I thought about it, then it was too much pain to get GoodGuy to change it again, and no guarantee it wont be just as lameo.

definitely a fuel problem, like they said clean the carb, also the petcock and check all the lines
