I chose "don't care."

My bike came with one, and I left it on.

If it hadn't came with the bike, I wouldn't have even thought of getting one.

ok maybe yall could clarify this to me the only purpose of a tank bra/protector is to proctect ur paint job on ur tank from zipper srcatches?
04 lower fairing-less, V&H full, gsxr750 rear shock, kat FE (buddha special), 15 tooth F sproket, ZG SPT windshield, heated grips, K and N Lunchbox, G-Pack      to be added - bandit rear wheel, full luggage set, paint, spencer seat

some can look really good. I heard dirt gets under them and scratches the paint anyway... but i dont know, haven't had one on the bike...

Someone put one on my bike to cover a huge dent in the back of the tank. Now that its been on there for who knows how long, the paint under it is a completely different (non-faded) color than the rest of the tank, so I leave it on...
