17T for 89-93?

Shopping for a new front sprocket. The super-milage 18T seems only to be made for 94-up bikes. All I've been able to find for the 1990 is 16 (stock) or less. Don't want to go lower, would try a 17 if I could find one. Ideally priced not too much differently ($10.79 plus ship at bikebandit for a JT is the best I've seen so far). I'll call the local stealership and see if they have one in stock for $17 or so (roughly sprocket and shipping from BB) before ordering there.
1990 GS500EL - with moderately-ugly paintjob.
1982 XJ650LJ -  off the road for slow repairs

89-93 have no "shoulder" or "boss" - 94-up do.
