I have spark on both plugs. Gas is easily getting to the carbs. Good charge on the battery. Could be the timing but I followed the service manual to the letter and I am pretty confident that isn't the problem. Idk what to do. Are the carbs to blame? I couldn't find another thread like this sorry if it's a repeat

do you have good compression?  Pull the plugs and try the old thumb-over-the-hole trick to make sure.  You could try removing the float bowls and spraying out the jets with carb cleaner.  You wouldn't even need to remove the carbs.

an engine needs very little to run...

AIR
FUEL (GAS)
COMPRESSION
IGNITION (SPARK)

you know how to check these?

I tried the thumb trick and everything seems fine in both cylinders. Do you have any more detailed instructions on how to spray out the jets?

I don't really know how to check to see if I'm getting enough air(I can try and pull off my air box to see if i can get some better flow) any ideas???
Fuel is getting to the carbs I know because the fuel with drain easily from the bottom of the carbs using the drain screw.
I did the thumb over the hole trick and it seems fine (might pick up a compression gauge later)
I know It has spark I took out both plugs and put them back into the coils and tried to start the engine and saw the spark in both.

When did it last run?

What did you do between then and now?

If you've fiddled with the timing, it's possible that you (despite thinking you got it right) managed to put things off.

Sure, first you need to turn off the gas at the tank valve and then drain as much as you can from the lines and petcock.  Then you're going to drain and remove the float bowls.  With those off you can look at the carbs from underneath and locate the main jet, pilot jet and maybe the middle jet (depending on the year of your bike).  Direct the tube of the carb cleaner into the jets and give them a few good sprays.  Wear eye protection for this, you don't want Xylene splashing into them.  Button it all back up, open the valve on the tank, turn the petcock to "Prime" and perform the float height check to make sure the needle valves in the carb are working properly.  Should fix you right up if it was a fuel problem.

It was running one month ago I can double check the timing but the service manual tells me to line up the "R"."T" mark with the left pickup my bike doesn't have a left and right two pickups only the right one so figuring the if the "R"."T" mark is left the the "L"."T" mark should be at the right (and only) pickup. Also the Choke was working when it ran. How do you check if the choke is working or not?
