Good morning everybody.  As the title says, this is for everyone to share those little embarassign moments of noobness that either a)got you into some trouble or b)came close or c)just made you look around to check if anyone saw what you just did, or any other form that we could all get a good chuckle from or even learn from others mistakes.
My favorite one so far for myself, With the bike pointing straight at the dealership doors, I was learning to use the clutch for the first time.  I hadnt had the friction zone quit dialed into my muscle memory.  And I nearly put the gs through the front door of the dealership in the first 10 minutes of having it.  I managed to yank the clutch in, grab the brake, throw my wieght back and stop.  Inches from the door mind you. I shut it down, stepped off and sat on the ground as a result of the major jolt to the nervous system.  Luckily for me no one was around to see it.(after hours) I could only imagine if i wouldve went through, if it wouldve made it through.  I dont think i had enough momentum.  lmao.
Enjoy guys,
YOu know you have plenty to share.   :thumb:

when i first bought my GS we had it drive it home in the back on my grandpas truck. it was the first time me and my dad have ever done that so when we were taking it off we completely let tension out of the left ratchet strap on the triple and the one on the right side pulled the bike down and almost flipped over the side of the truck bed  :dunno_white: im glad nothing broke. it was just one of those, 'okay lets use our brains' moments.

i did this yesterday!!!  THe asphalt must have been fresh, and sure enough i come out of the resturant and have to double take my own bike, like "wtf is wrogn with my kick stand?"  Nothing was wrong.  It was just sunk ito the asphalt about 2.5-3 inches.  I got lucky i think.

I was maybe 13 at the time.  My buddy and I had gone with his parents to a car show.  There happened to be a Honda display there with all their new sportbikes.  There were 2 CBR954RRs and something else parked next to each other.  I hopped on the first 954 and my buddy got on the second.  Being 13 and thinking I was cool I promptly took my 954 off its sidestand and pretended to lean it over  :thumb:  Thats where it all went wrong lmao.  I didn't realize how heavy that 400lbs of CBR was until it was too late, Buddha Loves You fell straight over right on top of me.  My buddy jumped off his 954 and landed into the third bike.  Managed to knock over $30,000 worth of bikes in about 2 seconds.  At first I was almost in tears, thankfully Honda dude explained it was no problem, all that was broken was the mirrors and turn signals and their insurance covered it (THANK GOD).  Made for a good laugh though later that night  :icon_mrgreen:
