I've come up with this fantastic idea for 'custom' flashers. They're cheap, reliable, easy to fit and very safe.
1. The idea of 'custom' parts is to have something different from most other people. :thumb:
2. Most after market flashers are less visible, therefore less safe and have fitting problems. :dunno_white:
3. Going by the number of posts here, most riders use these inferior types. :cookoo:

My amazing secret.
Use the flashers that came with your bike from the factory!!!!!!!!! You'll have flashers unlike most other riders here, they will work with no hassle and best of all other road users will see them and not run you over.

As for the visibility: Is it that bad in the US? In Europe, indicators have to be E-certified and this includes visibility. Most aftermarket indicators (esp. LED) are actually brighter that the original fly swatters.

Seriously, I notice that LEDs are bright, but only if you are looking directly at them, at a bit of an angle the light output drops right off.
I've probably upset some sensitive people who've spent hours modding their GSs (sorry Fry), I was just bored and having a bit of fun. :thumb:

Hey Buddha you're a man after my own heart. I went to a fancy dress party years ago, the costume involved an old raincoat, a cardboard tube, a ping pong ball, two round motorcycle flashers, the flasher relay and a battery. You can guess the rest!  :o

LOUiE

man you guys are creative!

yes... that was sarcasm.   :flipoff:

lets throw 3 different front ends in, tear apart and repaint every nut and bolt, dogbones, wishbones, integrated tail, fatter tires, custom guages, ... but nah!  no new turns... keep 'em stock!

Oy Louie ... what works we leave it alone OK fine it looks like sheite ... but atleast ... I usually fit it in the yamaha's and honda's ... the GS ... meeeeh ... either way, dont care too much.
Beisdes, FE, absolutely neccesary to swap if you are over 200 or so ... Safety ... stock T/S too, is safer than any BS you put on. Yea, Im all about the safety baby.

OEM flashers are God-awful!!!  The coolest GS in the world would look like S*** if it had OEM flashers IMO.
lK&N unchbox w/ rejet with 140 mains, F-18 flyscreen, truck bed liner black, superbike bars with 3rd eye bar end mirrors, license plate rear turn signals, micro front turn signals

The Buddha

Yea ... I'd agree albeit reluctantly ... rear looks worse than front though.
However a yamaha T/S cant be swapped with aftermarket, its ugly as hell, and its $$$ too. Honda isn't any better either.
Cool.
