Today I installed clip-ons and removed the headlight.  I looked at the situation with the head light bracket (I've actually been thinking about it for a while) and decided to just remove the headlight.  I have a couple ideas for cursory headlight replacements, but I think this step just reinforces that, funds permitting, my GS will now primarily be a track bike.

By the way, with the clip-ons below the triple tree, the riding position is low.  But not too bad.  I did a 50 mile freeway ride today with the new setup and while I felt more weight on my wrists, it wasn't too bad.
