I have a couple gs's with about 10,000 miles on em, could make 1 nice bike and keep the other for spares, or piece together another bike in your spare time.

1993 GS500e, black, needs to be put back together.

1990 Parts bike, missing plastics/tank/some front fork parts and carb though I do have an extra 2003 tank. Straight frame, motor is supposed to be in decent shape. I dont have any pics of the blue 2003 tank I bought for it(the newer tanks hold an extra .75 gallons or something like that), it has a dent but should be easy to make look decent. It needs front suspension(and headlight bucket and what not), plastics, seat, and carb is about it I believe if you don't mind reusing parts from the better bike. All of which can be had on the cheap, and should be easy to figure out what is missing by looking at the other bike.

The paints all in decent shape, I was going to remove the stickers and make it solid black and just buff out the paint. I took the wheels off the parts bike and prepped them for paint, just never finished the job. The parts bike came with 2 brand new tires that still have the shipping labels on them and have never been mounted that I was going to use. It also has an almost brand new chain I took off the parts bike as well. Comes with a pretty decent manual. The parts bike also has a slipon muffler and exhaust thats already got header wrap on it, and a big k&n lunch box filter that I was going to use on the nicer bike. When I sent the carbs off to get rebuilt by srinath they also were tuned for the can and filter.

pics of the better bike (1993):

and as it sits now thanks to removing the carbs and sending them off. pretty much just the rear 2 plastics, the seat, and the tank have been taken off.

pics of 1990 parts bike:

after i got the wheels off almost immediately....

I'd like $900 for both of em. Both are titled and never wrecked making it a pretty decent deal considering theyre both at 10,000 or so miles and ran when parked. For an extra 100 bucks I can toss in the motorcycle jack in the last parts bike picture and an engine hoist I used to move it around without the wheels on it. There is also a box of misc parts that came with the parts bike like a few different angled handlebars and random junk. Lost the desire to get into motorcycles, so they have just sat around waiting for someone to finish it up. My loss is your gain. Feel free to ask any other questions :)

Ha yeah you were indeed the one who built the carbs. I just never got around to putting em on

3-4 months ago i was still under the delusion that i would someday get around to finishing this haha

I would really like to see this stuff leave my garage all at once. I've got a few silly craigslist people trying to offer for just the nice one and the parts they desire, at a cheaper rate of course.... I just figure one of you guys has to be local and willing to come grab these things off me, rather they went to a good home honestly

The Buddha

Sell the nice one for 800 to CL clowns.
Then sell the other one for 3-400 to another clown.
Have you had any of them clowns over spouting "book value" yet ... That seems to be a perennial favorite ...
