i have led turn signals and have replaced the blinker relay with an electronic relay.  if i disconnect the rear blinkers, should the front ones still be working properly?

I'd like to say 'Yes', but we're talking about electrickery, so I'll say 'probably'.

I would say "yes" because the signal bulbs are each wired independently of one another.
