So, my neutral light didn't work ever since I got my bike. I tested everything out and determined that the neutral switch was bad. So, I got a used one off a member here, took everything apart, and that stupid little metal pin and spring that are supposed to make contact with the switch is gone. Gone!!! how could they be gone? Freaking ridiculous!! Its $1.50 in parts for crying out loud!!! Well, I'm gonna try to rig something up to work in the mean time

So, the moral of the story, check EVERYTHING, it might save you $12 and a few weeks of not having a neutral light!!

so, I found a random spring in the basement, and machined (with a dremel) a screw, and made what I needed. It'll work until I get the real parts

I have a back up neutral indicator on my bike, its a lever on the left handlebar. If you let it go and you're not in neutral the engine stops, you can't miss it!
