Illegal immigration is the debate, not legal immigrants dumbasses. I'd venture to say ... Criminals built my licence plate and say they should be given "all the freedoms this country has to offer".

And Immigrants built this country, we agree, however its very sloppy construction with really poor materials and unskilled labor that is causing our infrastructure to crumble now.
So would all the immigrants that built this country please come forward, we have a list of what you are going to do to fix the mess you have created. How's that mofo's.
And some of the bridges and buildings you built, have collapsed killing some people, for that we're going to charge you with Murder 2.

If that radio show is talking about illegal immigrants, then I agree, he is stupid.  But I'd hazard a guess that much of the North American infrastructure was built by an immigrant of one form or another.

As an aside, please realize that the topics and positions taken by talk radio morons are designed to get the 30-45 year old white male riled up.   

I know, tell me about it, however, I confused talk radio for NPR because today I got to 10-12 miles south of the 40 at 9 and I dont catch the winston salem NPR till I get 2-3 miles of the 40 and charlotte NPR turns to crap at 9 (charlotte talks - worse than talk radio) ... and I was forced to scan, and the damn talk radio sounded like NPR from hickory or somewhere, till I heard their call letters.
However I listened to BBC world service with tons of static for a few mins till I got closer to 40 to get it clear. I am a die hard NPR nut. You kidding, talk radio makes you stupid.
I like to get to the 40 right at 9 so I can hear BBC world service almost till 9:45 when I get to work.

hi there, my family immigrated here a few hundred years back. we've done a little to make it better here, picked up after ourselves, done what we know how to do, etc.

there is a 'illegals' town a few miles from here. you can pickup (in a pickup no less!) 10-20 illegals to labor all day long or all week long for a very reasonable fee.

drywall, yardwork, skilled labor, and yes, i'm starting to see guys with signs that say "I know computers, speak ENGLISH!" no shaZam!.

they will work as long as you want, till they drop.

americans are generally lazy, fat, not nearly as skilled as they think, talk too much BS, and do sloppy work. the very few that actually know a thing or two gave up on the other 99% a long time ago.

to be an immigrant is one thing. we are all yes, "immigrants". at least our founding fathers were. and i've met very few "lazy" americans. there are just jobs we won't do for minimum wage. now, i'm not gonna say there are no lazy americans, because there are. my tax money shouldn't have to go to help support someone who snuck over here and stole a social who's working minimum wage and cramming 30 people in a 2 bedroom trailer and sending their money back to mexico. i live in america, i shouldn't have to press 1 for english. when i call customer service for a product, i shouldn't be given a person at a desk in bangkok.  i shouldn't have to sort through the pages of my childrens library books to find the english portion. i'm not racist either. sure i'm not politically correct but you know what? i don't give a shaZam!. it's time americans grew some spine and stood up for what they believe in instead of rolling over because they're worried about the trouble it might cause. imagine if our founding fathers had the same attitude. GOD BLESS AMERICA 

technically the so called "native" American are immigrants too.  they walked over a few thousand years before.  so the only people on the planet that are not "immigrants" are Africans living in Africa.  the rest of us are lowly immigrants

Hey, legal immigrants (like me) also do an excellent job (not just on your carbs) for a very reasonable (even stevens going market $) wage.
I also pay people their asking $ for what I need done that I cannot (mow my yard) or should not (clean my gutters) , or dont want (work on my truck/car) to do.
I think Illegals are keeping some physical labor rates down artificially that americans aren't willing to put in the effort to learn it ... Like I learn this and I work minimum wage for long hours and they still prefer mexicans ... what part of this makes sense. I just pity those people - I have a few neighbors that can do this, and they are doing somehting else, like doing meat sales off the backs of their refridgrated cases, and they say they cant do drywall for a living due to under cutting of their $.

TBH actually, teh "indians, " did they not come over the land bridge from siberia, in essence tehy are immigrants as well. and i call tehm native or original inhabitants, until tehy find evidence of an earlier group, like a cave man or something

busted for not reading the posts...i already said that about the land bridge thing.  buddah where were you born? and when did u come to America.  just curious, i;m not going to fire any arrows or anything.   not all countries are suffering from "over population".  some of the most developed countries in the western world are actually seeing a decline in population and view immigration as the answer.  of course we have heard that there will be a shortage when the baby boomers(1946-1964) bunch retire.  i am in that group and retired already.  however my mother is not.  that is just part of the mixed up world we live in.  of course i was in a profession that, once you hit 40 ish you are "old" and either do command or staff officer  work or retire.    Americans are fortunate that we don't have to worry about our northern boarder because we have Canada there.  can you imagine what life would be like if Canada were a 3rd world Spanish speaking country full of former slaves?  you can walk all day through a Canadian city without seeing a black or Spanish person.  and no one is sneaking into America from Canada for a better life.  just the opposite is true.  there are American in Canada, like during the Vietnam era, who are avoiding a unjust and illegal war.   i agree that we should not have to press 1 for English.   English is our language and it is all that should be acceptable.  providing services in Spanish both public and private is only making it easier for the illegals and making it harder for the legals to be assimilated into our great melting pot.  some European countries such as France is taking a firm stance by not accepting immigrants that are not literate in french and by limiting immigration from some regions deemed unsuitable.  it may be prejudice but like it or not there are just some area's and some people you don't want in your country.  it is our home and we have every right to deny admission to those we do not deem fit.  i don't think welfare and free health care should be given to illegals.  they should be arrested and deported without hearing and denied entry permanently.  this would make life hard for the illegals, their families, coyotes and others who help them.  a hard line stance is the only real way to deal with the threat on our southern boarder.   at times i worry about what our country is going to look like in 100 years or so.  all you do is have to watch network or cable i guess, news and see how these people behave.  of course we have our own "gems" that just make me shake my head.  you can see them on jerry springer.  but it is these same people that are breeding and that may, some day, be in the majority...OMG that is just scary.   thank god i will be dead by then.
