OK, I just received my integreted Taillight from Clear Alternatives and I have the old one off but now I'm supposed to remove the bulb sockets and have no clue how to do it. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to take them out?

Thanks

If you got the integrated tail there is no need to remove the bulb sockets. you just plug the fitting into the right one. drill one {or two up to you} holes in the bottom of the socket panel. You run your turn signal leads through the drilled holes and tag them to you turn wires from bike. Put led board over screw mounting posts  slip over 2 orings that are supplied put on lense... done

don't forget to install your resistors and or clear alternatives flasher

Got it, the instructions say to remove the sockets and the pictures so them removed also but I guess that was with an older style bike, mine's an 07...

Now on to the electrical stuff...

Where is the relay?
I got the new relay but not sure if I'm just supposed to plug it in somewhere or wire it in?
Also I found the wires for the turn signals, the left is a black and black/white one and the right is a green and black/white one... which ones do I attach the wires too?

sorry for all the questions but his is not only my first bike but my first mod ;)

Thanks

You wire the relay in...but I didn't use mine.

I wish I could go out and look at my bike for ya...but it's pretty simple.  Wire one of the wires to the left, the other to the right and check it.  If it's reversed just switch the wires around, haha.

All done.. I found the relay and replaced but after blinking about 3 times the signals stopped working all together, put on original relay and everything working again.

I left the rear turn signals on so I know have the intergrated tail light and the original signals and they all seem to be flashing together so I might just leave it that way. Rather have too many lights then not enough :)

Thanks for help, done my first mod... next is the headlamp modulator..
