This has got to be the nicest sounding and looking gs500 imo.  Anyone with good eyes and ears tell what it is? (year, exhaust etc)

Tail Plastics looks like 2001+ , front faring looks like the old ones Fitted to the pre 2000 models , or it is a Brazilian Kit ,

as for exhaust , Looks sorta like my Predator one

I can say that the first one I've never seen and it sounds great, but is the low resonation due to the camera more or the bike.  you can never really tell with youtube.

ya, most gs500s sound like a quad so I personally wont be upgrading exhaust on my gs, Ill just upgrade bikes.  I will be putting bar end mirrors on mine I think , but otherwise, Im not modifying a gs500 when it only puts out so much horsepower no matter wht you do to it, and Ill just be upgrading to another bike.  Why spend that money?

But that gs sounds good, on youtube!

why?  theyre cool frankie get with it.     Im currently riding wout mirrors, and Im pretty sure I saw something on the net that said its against the law here in ga.  U must have one at least, I think.

i have a f model with katana mirrors,  on a standard bike i would get ones as thin as possible.  i dunno there is just something i do not like about bar end mirrors.  here in Maine you don't need them.  some states you need one others both

Very nice GS500 and good sounding exhaust (based on youtube), I think it does retro very good
