Hi there,
Is that footpeg the rider's left peg? Does it include the footrest rubber? I need the left side driver's footrest rubber, if it's in nice shape.
Let me know and thanks, bub!

Yours,

Is that the brackets that attach the headlight to the forks?
If so I will probably take them.

I'm copying my original warning below. I bought a 1999 Kat rear shock. He sent me a 1993 GS500 shock.  WTF?!  :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff:

He also screwed another KatRiders member on a headlight: http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=84326&page=4

He seems to know that the buyer will not win a PayPal dispute if the part is wrong or broken in transit because PayPal only cover items that aren't shipped. Sending something - even if wrong or broken - somehow covers his ass.  :bs:  PayPal will only honor an item is "significantly not as described" when the purchase is done via eBay. Trust me - I corresponded with their customer service many, many times.

He has not replied to any of my emails, PMs, or PayPal dispute messages since the end of July.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!

His member name here is Spectroff. His real name is Eric Svetcov and he's in Wilmington, NC.

Would NOT recommend anyone do business with this guy.  :flipoff:

He totally screwed me over on a rear shock purchase. I bought a '99 Kat 600 shock from him (on KatRiders.com). He sent me a '93 GS500 rear shock.

I paid him immediately (2 July). He dragged his ass sending it out (9 July) and was really, really bad about responding to emails.

Then the shock arrives (16 July) and it's a f*cking old GS500 rear shock. I emailed him back, giving him the benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake. He admitted fault, said he'd send me the right part, messed up because he was moving, blah blah blah. I was patient, maybe even too nice...waited another week and a half but then he just stopped responding to emails and PMs.

Filed a PayPal claim and then dispute. Still haven't gotten my money back or heard from him. He hasn't logged on here in about a month but he was trying to sell a lot of Kat and GS stuff so I thought I'd give everyone a heads up. I hope he hasn't gotten anyone else!

Here are some of his more recent "For Sale" threads:

You could always sign up!   I cut-and-pasted the remaining posts on that thread below. Edocsil also embedded pics, but I'm just linking them.

Similarly to Pronator, I purchased the headlight from this listing. What was rated as a 9/10 here, and what I was told was in "mint" condition with all the tab intact, turned out to be a headlight with a missing tab, a broken tab, a missing electrical prong, and a scratched lens. After filing a dispute on PayPal, I have been unable to make contact with Erak(or Erik) Spectroff (spectroff on katriders.com) except for one response where he claimed that the product must have been damaged during shipping. This is not the case. Here I'm working on my motorcycle replacing parts and I receive a part that is in worse condition than what I started with. Definitely not what I payed for.

I would be glad to discuss this with spectroff and come to an agreement, but until I can get a response that is a little difficult to do. I have given him all the resources to reach me and have yet to get anything, regardless of my attempts.

Buyers, save your money. Unless he does something to change my mind, you will be scammed. You might as well just give your money to a random person on the side of the street.

Enjoy the pics(which have also been sent to spectroff but I have yet to hear back)

Edit: I just check his pictures again, and clearly one tab is completely missing at the bottom left(yet, it must have happened during shipping....somehow before it was shipped.)

this guy is a JACKASS!! I bought a rear brake lever a year ago, never heard from him, got my money back through paypal. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM!!!

Wow dude. That headlight assy. isn't the one that he had shown in the pic's on his site. If it is, that clear plastic must have been face down on the bottom of the cardboard box. I have seen a lot of this happen to safety glasses that are plastic and come in contact with any other material for long periods of time. Very poor packing.

Then it was closed down by the mod (steves):

Based on the information I've received from several members, I do not suggest you make any trades with this member.

I'll give him some time to come back and try to make good, but unfortunately these things do happen sometimes.

If you happen to have any contact information for this member, please forward it along to pronator or edocsil

ohgood

I was just thinking, "If someone accused me of not shipping or shipping defective parts, I'd do my best to respond fast, fix the deal, and make everyone happy."

Maybe the lack of response is an indicator ?

ATLRIDER

I had purchased a Kat FE from him back in June.  Received what I paid for so I really don't have any complaints except that communication was sort of lacking.
K&N Lunchbox, K&N Engine Breather, Hella Angel Eyes, Buell Turn signals, Kat 750 Rear Shock, Progressive Springs, MC Case Guards, Aluminum Ignition Cover, V&H Full Exhaust, Ignition Advancer, 15T Sprocket, Srinath Bars, Gel Seat, Dual FIAMM Freeway Blaster horns

The Buddha

You managed to get a 96+ FE working Atl ? I find the freaking thing miserable ... I am putting a mutt together ... 96+ legs (not the worst part of the bloody FE) 89-95 triples set, and wheels disks and calipers.
Now the 96 legs have threaded axke fittings. I am hoping to fit the 89-95 axle in it, or I'll drill it off and use a nut and a different axle.
I am really loving the 89-95 FE's. And just my luck, ebay is my only choice, all the local kat people have been cleaned out.
Cool.
