I just bought some 8mm spark plug wire for replacement on my bike.  I clip off the ends ( no place has it by the spool here) and ther's NO wire in the middle, just what appears to be some small gauge plastic insulation around some fibergalss strands.  Did the factory make a mistake?  If not, will this work on my bike?  Thanks in advance.

I ordered this wire when I was getting something else from Dennis Kirk, should last longer than the bike and only $3 w/o shipping.  Copper core and looks just like oem wires.  I couldn't find anything locally.

The wires have carbon cores. They should work just as well.
