So I just got Buddhas jet kit installed (mostly)  I changed the jets, drilled the brass caps turned the mixture screws and then stripped one of the diaphragm cap screws.  I cant get to it with vice grips, is it safe to drill it out?  Also anybody know off hand what size allen bolt would be the proper fit to replace those stupid brass screws? (not the ones on the float bowl covers I already replaced those, I mean the ones on top)

By the way my bike sounds freaking sweet with the k&n LB and Yoshimura, my daughter is sleeping right now and wife is at work so I will take video when she wakes up.

thanks everyone!

hmm, use a punch and give her a little tap in the correct (righty tighty, lefty loosy) direction and they'll come loose. this works even if you've mangled it with vise grips already. careful now, don't crack the caps !

(i wouldn't try drilling yet, too many things to moof in the process)

I might not need to mess with the needle since I put the bigger mid jets, so I might not worry about it.  I adjusted the mix screws which I hadnt done when I rode it earlier so well see how it runs in a little bit.  Is there a max to how many turns you can do on the mix screws?  I dont want to get them so loose they fall out or something.

I am glad I did all of this I feel real comfortable taking the gas tank and messing with the carbs now.
