Hey I'm new to the GS world, but just picked up a bone stock '95 gs500e.

I was looking to do the uber-fenderectomy ala pantablo...but Im wondering how one would mount the turn signals after you cut it off? (since his is for 01 up)

Anyone who has done it have advice?  I suppose you could just cut around where the signals mount...but i dont know..

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I actually just completed the 'uber' fenderectomy on my 00' and it looks damn sweet...

To mount the turn signals, you either have to make a bracket to use the stockers, or buy some short-stalk skinny turn signals... I bought some tiny, tiny... TINY... led Lockhart Phillips turn signals from MotoSport.com and they fit perfectly.

You have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the pocket where the tool kit is on each side. This will keep the lights above the fender cut and also run the wires under the seat, so everything tucks away nicely.

The other thing I did was get some LED lights for the tail light, since they're directional the license plate is no longer illuminated... So, I found some of these LED bolts that are actually the same thread size as the 2 fender bolts under the tail light... so I just use those to hold the fender in and spliced them into the tail light running line...

I'll take some pics in an hour or two and post them for you.
