I dont have the funds for this now but I too am looking to move up maybe next spring/fall. Was this bike a comfortable fit after riding a GS?  Similar seat height and handeling?
Enjoy!

The Z has a little taller stock seat height than the GS and a slightly more upright riding position (even more so after adding risers) - my wrists didn't tire nearly so quickly on the Z.  I missed the lightness or "flickability" of the GS a little (the Z's got about 75lbs. more on it), but for me, going from 40 to 100 horses made me forget about that for the most part.  Gas mileage is actually about the same (~50mpg) with my conservative riding style.  The low-end torque of the Z is much more pleasant.  Vibration from the inline four of the Z feels different, but not more or less severe than the GS.  Less cold-natured fuel-injected engine of the Z was also a plus.
