I found the wiring diagrams on the wiki but I don't see the exact one for my GS.  I have a '99 which woudl be an EX.  I presume I shoudl use the EV diagram whcih is only two years earlier.  I also presume they don't change much at all from what I have read on the forum.

Does anyone know what the differences are?

My Clymer manual is for 89-02 GS500 models and has a wiring diagram for US and Canadian models for 1990-ON.  There is a seperate diagram for 89 models.  Seems all 1990 thru 2002 GS500/E models are the same.

The 02 was the last GS500/E sold in the US and only the GS500F was sold here from 04 on and would have a different wiring diagram of course with the different headlights, electric tach, and other changes on the F models.

Another thing I love about this bike - it hasn't changed much over the years.
