1) can i put newer model fairings on my 92 gs. or do i have to modify them?

2) every now and then my carb pops in to the air filter. is that saying i have to rebuild my carb or what is going on there?

Your 92 doesn't have the same brackets for fairings that the 2001+ bikes have. You'd have to modify your frame to add the brackets needed. People on the forum have done it, do a search and you'll find people doing E to F conversions...

The buddha did it ... and its not a task for people who ask quiestions like these ... its just about the hardest task I have ever done on a GS.
