I completely agree with it. Disclosure: I'm a CCW permit holder and carry nearly everywhere.

bettingpython

CCW license and full time carrier as well, no argument from me. Gun free zones only ensure law abiding citizens will not be armed.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

All i have to say is look at what the gun ban in DC caused ...

Ya know, this topic gets old and boring after a while...   ;)
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

The picture has shock value, and 'gun nut' comes to mind. I think that particular font is universal for "GUN SHOW THIS WEEKEND ONLY!!!" advertisements everywhere.

Hopefully I'll never need to discharge mine. Oh my goodness I hope I never have to. But it will be locked, loaded. Ohhhhhh yes it will.

Gun bans on cities is meaningless unless you prevent people from crossing over into the city and confiscate all the weapons that are already in there ...

And ... since there is no way to take back all the guns ... all I can say is ... switch to a fully different bio coded ammo system, and stop making ammo for anything that already exists ... maybe all the future ammo should have a pretzel shape ... And all legit gun owners will be allowed to trade for those which will only fire for the one person whose finger print is recorded in its trigger at registration. That way ... you can carry a gun, it only fires in your hand, your house is safe cos you can keep it sitting on the kitchen counter and anyone that breaks in ... well he may have a gun ... but he nearly dont have free access to ammo and you do, in fact you have 4 kids, each one who is old enough can have a gun of their own. heck I'd give one to a 12 year old if he's mature enough as long as its a paperweight in any one else's hands.

Gun laws are lame ... not unless you round up all the guns (mainly the ones you dont know about) and melt them down.

it makes me wonder why our country has gone down this path.  if guns were limited there would not be as many shootings, the statistics prove this.  countries with tight gun control have much fewer gun crimes.  the weapons belong in the hands of the police, military and some hunters.   carrying one in public in a country that is not at war on its own soil is, in my opinion, only making things worse.  were have you heard of someone stopping a crime with a gun? i don't read about them.  that's because it does not happen.

where have I heard of someone stopping a crime with a gun?  When I was 4, an armed burglar broke in.  My father shot him twice with a .357.  I'm pretty sure that qualifies my father as having stopped a crime using a gun :dunno_white:  Come one down to the south.  I could give you a list of people that have stopped would be muggers in their tracks with the help of concealable firearms.

frankieG

70% of murders in the US are by firearm, 29% in Canada.  but America has less burglaries than Canada.  i use Canada as a reference since it is our closest neighbour and ally.

A well armed society is a polite society.  We are very cordial and polite in the south ;)

Im more interested in the stats on murders with melee weapons and unarmed assualts in countries/cities with gun control laws.  Lets see how they stack up that way.  I dont care abotu gun stats.  You have to look at the bigger picture.  Violent crime rates as a whole. Not just the ones with guns.
A person who wants to kill someone, or hurt them, doesnt always use a gun.

It happens everyday.  Newspapers dont print those events because it "promotes vigilantism".  They will print however when a man gets killed by an armed assailent.
But I garuantee you, everyday my friend, some ones ass is saved by a concealed weapon. Either by physical confrontation, or the would be perp recognizes that lil thing sticking out from under your jacket or shirt and they think twice.  Just because you have never pulled out your weapon from its holster, that doesnt mean it hasnt saved your life or stopped a crime.
