still problems please help

i bought my gs recently and had problems from the word go i found out that the right carb was not working properley as fuel was not getting to the right cylinder so i bought new carbs and manufactured them to fit on my bike as they are from a 2002 and my bike is a 1993 any way more to the point my bike still runs exactly the same and i have now just found out that the left cylinder is now not firing i dont get it does any one have any ideas

Switch out the plugs.  That's probably your best bet if it isn't firing.  If that doesn't work it could go back to the coil, or the control box.

Now, for why fuel isn't getting to that side...does your float bowl have fuel in it?  Start tracking down the last place that there is fuel, and there's probably something plugged.  If the carbs are new and it's still doing it, then check the fuel lines, maybe there's something plugged in there.  Beyond that, I don't think you've given enough specific info for us to diagnose it any further.  Hope I could be of help.

Also, open up those carbs, and clean them.  It doesn't hurt to make sure everything is spotless first, just to make sure the problem isn't dirty carbs.
