While it was a good movie I'm getting quite tired of the martyr complex! I mean if it is a part of the story line then I don't mind religious uses. But, in this instance and the last Matrix movie do the same thing. They are comparing superman and ohmygoodness NEO to Christ. I mean can you not get more creative! No you gotta stretch them out like the crucifix! gimmie a break HollyWood!

I mean at least Van Heilsing which is on now uses the story of Gabriel and the devil in the plot not just a quick shock value tactic. It's on FX now reason why I watched it and Superman.

Spacey was a HORRIBLE L. Luthor in my opinion... I'm a HUGE fan of superman, but I didn't really like the performances of some of the characters.

Lois Lane - bland
Clark Kent - Good (actually reminds me of Reeves a little...  maybe that's why I liked his performance)
Spacey - eww
Perry White - needed a little bit more....  something
Jimmy Olsen - good

Speaking of which...  I haven't seen Smallville since the end of season 4.
