Have I got a URL for you!

BikeBandit.com is your friend!  (The URL takes you to the OEM Parts lookup.)

Select your model year (1992), the make (Suzuki) and the model (GS500EN).  When you see the list of "subsystems", click on "FUEL chicken".  This will show you a diagram of both fuel petcocks and all the fuel system hoses.

NOTES
=====
1) The fuel tank petcock is displayed BACKWARDS in the diagram so you can see the shutoff valve.  You have to flip it 180 degrees in your head in order to get the ON and RES hoses hooked to the right spots.  (RES outlet is the longer one, and faces forward.)

2) The thin hose with one end just below bolt #11 in the diagram is the vacuum hose.  It connects to the upper inside of the left carburetor.

3) The hose that attaches just in front of the vacuum hose on the frame-mounted petcock conducts the fuel from the petcock to the carbs.  It attaches to the lower 'T' connector between the carbs.

GRU

i took some pics and labeled the connections....

so this is how i think it all connects....

1B connects to 5B
2B connects to 4B
1A connects to 3B
2A doesn't connect to anyting...it is laid on top of the air box

is this the right way to connect the lines?
