Hi Farakin,
Hey, man, I really appreciate your offer for the bars, but I had also been talking to some other GStwinners on the board and found some that are inexpensive, in perfect shape and don't need to be repainted.
So I will pass on your bars, but I want you to know that I REALLY appreciate your very kind and generous offer.
If I can help you out some time, please don't hesitate to ask.
Best wishes, and thanks again, man.
Yours,
Trwhouse

Oh, and by the way, to UTGUNSLINGER,
You know what they say about opinions, don't you bub?
It's very true.
:)
Thanks for yours.

Mine are in the same shape, painting bars is the easiest thing you will do on a bike. Im hacking mine up now. good luck on the search for perfect bars, sorry I couldnt be  more of a help. I was out of town with the AF all weekend anyways and couldnt really get to replying to anything. I dont think you will be 100% happy with my bars so its just best to save the trouble of returning and sending back and so on that I just use them.

I would take the deal this guy has! Free bars just shipping! thats a steal!

Well at least we can all stop listening to you whine about not having bars.  PRAISE THE LORD  :thumb:

Whining?
Whining?
I wasn't whining.
I wasn't doing any stinkin' whining!  (see reference to "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre")
You want to hear whining?
Don't even get me started. :)
That was just me looking for bars. OK, so it did take months, but that wasn't my fault.
I never even got started whining about them. :)
But no problem.
I think all is well now.
And I really, truly, honestly do appreciate how everyone has been so helpful with this, even to the point of offering up free bars that needed some paint.
This community we have is a very cool place.
Even when there occasionally is some whining.
Not that I did that.
:)
I may want to throw an "installing my used handlebars" party soon. I'll let you all know the details.
Best wishes,
Trwhouse

lol....a party, just invite 2 screwdrivers over.

So, who wants em?

I could just mount them to the front of my F150 like longhorns.
