hey everyone, i have a 93 gs 500 and i cant find any help maybe some here knows, can i put the fairing form a 2004+ gs500f on my bike, the frame seems to be the same. Will it be a direct fit or close to it? if i go with the airtech fairing it will be over $1000, wow. i cant get rid of the bike and get a new one, thats not the answer i want

it can be done but you will have to attach mounting tabs for the fairing

so the frame is the same and the tabs are just welded on

check out the for sale sections there is plenty of opps to pick up fairing of all kinds for good prices.

The tabs aren't welded onto the 04 frame but they would have to be welded onto your frame. With the help of wera643 and the diabolical Buddha; we we're able to turn my 90 into an 04 doppleganger.
