Sad day.. Is it covered under home or bike insurance?

ohgood

man, so sorry your home burned :(

as a couple positives: the speedo looks pretty cool, I'd keep that and the taillight (along with the tag) for the garage in the next house.

she still runs great :)  I painted the exhaust too, but haven't taken pics of that yet.  just put some new headlights on it, relocated all the wiring to underneath the tank, and working on getting the pics together for that.  I also put on new carbon fiber levers, carbon fiber bar ends, carbon fiber front turn signals, and have a r6 led tail-light with integrated turn signals waitng on my new tail fairings to get here.  should look really nice when the rest of the parts come in

Sorry to hear your house burned down. That is totally sweet that the bike still runs! You should totally leave the crazy melted tail light like it is...

Really sorry to hear about your house, but I really like the dali-esque brake light and gauges!  Good luck getting it back together!  Out of curiousity, did insurance cover anything on the bike?

Had liability only on the bike   and house insurance didnt cover it because it had its own insurannce..... but it did give me full replacement cost on a few old dirtbikes I had so I am usin that to fix up the gs.....  Takin lot of pics along the way

Ouch, poor GS! But looks like you're doing a proper rebuilt!

As mentioned before: Keep something for the garage wall. After my beloved van burnt down, I kept this:

Sorry to hear about the house.

Good luck with the GS!   :thumb:
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Oh yea, tell them you had a few Dali's and picasso's in the house. If they ask too many questions show them the burnt out calendar etc, it all looks like a Dali now ...
