Hi all!  I'm getting back on 2 wheels in the spring in the form of a GS 450 cafe racer that I'm building in my living room.  so far it's got a 91 katana front end, wheel and brakes, clubman bars and a sweet headlight with integrated signals.

I've noticed that a lot of you GS 500 guys swap out rear wheels from Katanas (I'm guessing because they are wider?)  I'm looking for a rear rim in the 3 spoke style for this project.  I need axels,brakes cush drive etc  Does anyone that's upgraded their rear wheels want to get rid of their old one?

the rim I'm looking for looks like this ^   I need something to fit a 140 tire, or maybe a 150 but the skinnier the better.  Also, I'm in Ottawa, Canada, so close is good, cause shipping costs suck!

I'm also looking for some handle bar riser clamps to mount my new bars.  The katana front end came with clip ons so I need the type of risers that fit through the holes in the upper triple tree (4 inches apart)

if you go with a stock gs500 wheel they run 130 rear tire size stock on the gs

Ive got an old katana wheel 3.5" wide that will fit a 130/140 tire. I sell the katana wheel for $35 plus shipping, comes with cush drive and decent bearings, no axle or spacers, but 1 of the plugs that hold the cushion to the wheel is broken. send me your zip(address) and ill see what ups charges to send it. hell, i dont need it so hows $20 plus shipping?
