So I finally got the carbs apart. It looks very clean inside. I was looking at the jets and I can only see thry the large main jet on the top of the picture... should I be able to see thru all of them? What else should I clean while I have them open? Thanks.

Weston

You can take the jets out with a flat head screwdriver. They all need to be clean enough to see through.

Yeah, take the jets out one by one and clean them with carb cleaner and compressed air. You might need a bit of very fine wire if they are super clogged up...

I tried cleaning with carb cleaner and compressed air... cant find a wire small enough.. any ideas? Do all the jets spray out of the same hole as the main jet?

when I did my carbs the first time, I used carb cleaner from advane auto, and compressed air. but mine werent really all that dirty

Guitar string is what I use... the E A or D  (w/ some windings on it) helps grab the gunk... Go to a good shop, the will sell one string at a time.

I ALWAYS use Suzuki carb cleaner... it WAY better than any others i have tried.

I bet if you go to a guitar shop that also services instruments, they'll give you old/broken guitar strings for free... Or find a friend who plays, they probably have some old strings down at the bottom of one bag or another...

can you really use guitar strings? i know most are nickel wound, but its still stainless steel on the inside, which is definitely harder than the brass jets
