it to me loks liek not worth it. cause if it were to be repaired and un, something got knocked outta whack by looks,a nd if it did runl would prolly end up with the mother of all goats cases
among other things. but thasts just my opinion

I'm the proud new owner of this P.O.S. so wish me luck.

Seller says the engine was running while the bike was on its side......not good, think oil starvation. Mind you looking at the state of it thats the least of your problems. Have you bought it for parts? because for what that is going to cost to bring back to life you could have bought a runner.

joshr08

good luck. :cookoo: by the looks of it your going to have alot of time and money in it.  might want to just make a list of all the good parts and look for another bike that needs some of the parts that you have that are good and fix it.

You should post some pictures, but from that ebay picture, it didn't look like you were going to be able to fix it... You might make some money by parting it out bit by bit. If big things like the frame are bent, you'd probably spend more fixing it than you would just buying a new bike. You can find good deals on GSs that are running and not wrecked if you search long and hard enough. One of my GSs was $1000 and the other was free. I got both of them in running condition, although the free one wasn't rideable when I got it, but it will be soon for ~$200 in parts...

i would think it should be easy to part out and make more then you spent on it.  like i think good frame with title is 150-200 + shipping i might be a bit high but if you only paid 250 for everything i would part out and buy something running

then after you have one thats running you could get one to build if thats what you really want to do with no time limit you can just tinker and fix as you have the cash while still having a rideable bike

yeah i bought it to play with first bike and all it's torn apart in my dining room right now but the frame is straight but I'm gonna end up needing a few parts to get it up and running.
p.s. sorry it took so long to reply I'm working 120 hrs this week need the cash to start fixing her up  :thumb:

I'll buy the frame if you've got a clean title on it.  And I mean CLEAN!

GI_JO_NATHAN

If I were you I'd find a bike that needs a motor and part the rest out.

How is the condition of the rear rotor?
I would take that if it's still good (and above minimum thickness of 5.5mm)

jetboy287

sorry Guys I'm not gonna part it out i picked up a new engine yesterday, so I'm one step closer to getting it back on the rode. but if i ever change my mind y'all will be the first to know I'll post it in the for sale part of the form. and i'm gonna try and get some pictures up as soon as i find the cord for my camera. have a good one
