Tried just about everywhere I can think.  Once place can get it, but not for " a couple weeks" so who knows how long it will really be.  Motovan is the catalogue most places order from around here (like parts unlimited) but for whatever reason they show the lunchbox as being discontinued (which it is not, it just means that they are not going to carry it anymore).

Where did you fellow Canadians find it.  If I have to order from the net, so be it.  Summit racing doesn't show stock until march 20th, and AJ is all the way down in California.

I ran into the same problem... I just ordered a K&N drop in and I'll take out the restrictor... don't think it really makes much of a difference anyway for hp.

It makes a huge difference, its like trying to breather through a drinking straw.

actually on the GS500 you can do whatever you want because your not going to gain much HP either way.  you want to gain HP get a different bike.  if you want a cheap commuter that looks good and handles great keep the gs.  just my 2 cents

Probably the biggest difference will not be hp but noise, er, sound. Yeah. Intake sound.

Why not wait until it warms up and take a ride to Buffalo and buy one?

I'd drive to buffalo tomorrow if I knew where to get one in buffalo??  Do you know of any places that stock them?

As for the other comments, this is my 3rd gs, I'm not really looking for people opinions on what I should and should not do to the bike, and what mods will do what.
