I was just curious if anyone new of any aftermarket turn signals that will be a direct or near-direct fit into the front mounting brackets of my 89 GS.

if not...do you have ideas on how to get others to fit (so that they stay in position facing forward) ?

"Almost. I had a kitten once."

i bought aftermarket indicators for my 91 and they werre just that little bit too narrow so i got some large washers to make up the differen and that was that, jobs a goodun.

I would assume always in pairs but as soon as you start assuming something you get screwed and hit with extra charges!  Call or email before you order if your unsure.

Thanks,

I used to live outside of Columbus and going to shop in their warehouse/showroom was the BEST!  I would spend literally 4 hours there just BROWSING!  They are awesome in my book.

I'll be damned if I can remember who makes them, but my signals are what you're asking for.  They're shorter and smaller than stock, but bright enough, good looking, and cheap.  I saw them online once but I can't locate them now, and forgot where I saw them.  They were around $20, and you can also get matching bar end mirrors and levers.  They all have a carbon-fiber look.
V&H pipes, K&N drop-in, seat by KnoPlace.com, 17/39 sprockets, matching grips, fenderectomy, short signals, new mirrors - 10 scariest words: "I'm here from the government and I'm here to help!"

Iron Pony is great, I've never ordered online (I live 15 minutes from their massive store) but they always have great prices and great service. I signed up for their email and they do let you in a lot of discounts, I've spent so much money there...

But yeah, those signals are sold in pairs and I've found them to be as bright or brighter than stock. I think the clear leans with the orange bulb makes them pop more.
