well, technically, he's gotta become a stain on the road before he is elligible for the darwin awards.  Removal of one's self from the gene-pool is the whole point of the award.

hmmm.. that makes me wonder... if someone lives through their stupidity, but say, loses their ability to reproduce (i.e. say he slides crotch-first into a telephone pole at 300mph, but survives), does that qualify him?  He's out of the gene-pool technically.

i am almost sure that if you remove your ability to reproduce you can win, or atleast get the honorable mention.

So us vasectomised guys can go for this award? naaaaar I think I'll stick to bungee jumping and blindfold cobra snagging seems a lot safer.

if you haven't had a vasectomy AND you would like to win a darwin award then have the cobra bite your nuggets. you can accomplish both the vasectomy and win the award all in one step.
