F800 BMW is that the prefect upgraded GS ?

Aluminum frame, SSSA, belt drive, and 800CC parallel twin.
Maybe the souped up GS has been made, and its a BMW.
FI, water cooling, 4 valves /cyl etc etc etc.

The thing is so damned perfectly engineered that it has no character to it. Really. I dunno. What do you want? Character, or perfection?  :angel:
Cycle Canada just wrapped up their long-term test of F650GS (same 800cc engine detuned to 50ish hp). Their comments basically "great bike, no fun".

Long live the GS.
